Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, all kits come with the required tek screws. In fact, we always include a few extra. Screws have a head colour that matches the post & rail.

A cordless drill with a hex bit to suit a 10/16 tek screw. Also, a tape measure, & either tin snips for cutting.

You can extend any Colorbond panel fence. These are known as ‘Good neighbour’ fencing (same on both sides).

While for many years the slat panel extensions were considered to be compliant when installed properly, recent changes to compliance regulations mean that some individual inspectors, and some councils, mainly in the Sydney area, reject the slat panel. Before ordering horizontal slat panels for a pool compliance fence, please enquire with the relevant individual inspector whether slat is acceptable. (It would likely be worth mentioning the horizontal opening of the slat is 9.5mm). If slat panel is rejected, then the other option is privacy or polkadot panel.

Yes. If your fence was erected several years ago then the colour will have changes slightly due to exposure to weather. You might find a slight difference in the shade of the colour, this is quite normal.

Yes. There are literally dozens of manufacturers of fence posts with various post designs. We source our posts from the leading Colorbond manufacturers, so can generally match yours. If the profile is out of production, Screenline have large quantities of posts that are designed to be a close match to your current ones. Slight variations are quite normal.

Yes, you can. In fact, this is becoming more popular. Screenline powder coats in house, so can paint to any standard Colorbond colour. Check out our colour chart for further options.
